Republic of Foreigner is a Nigerian fashion label that prides its motto as “to inform, educate, and enlighten whilst promoting the best in art, food, fashion, music, and travel, visually endorsing the who, what, or where is happening internationally.” Its fashions are African inspired with prints patterns and color and they attempt and succeed in spreading African culture through this. Carmen and Selina Sutherland created a brand to show individuality globally with interaction and inspiration from other outlets of art such as film. Proving Nigerian fashion is nothing less than flourishing.
