African Inspired: The Promise Collection by Tommy Hilfiger

More and more designers are beginning to recognize Africa and the beautiful artistic  nature of their clothing, designs, and artistry, leading to designers producing  an African inspire line.

Tommy Hilfiger is the most recent designer in  his launch of an African inspired line, with the launch of his “The Promise Collection”, having Katie Holmes on as ambassador. All of the clothing are made from textiles and materials procured from Africa, and all profits are given to an organization named Millennium Promise  that aims to reduce hunger and poverty in Africa.
