Showroom Adirée: A Look at Adama Paris’ Collection at AFWNY

While most of the designers at AFWNY shocked and wowed the crowd with gorgeous flowing gowns, couture pieces, and even ready to wear ensembles, designer Adama Paris took us in a new direction and stood out from the rest for a completely different reason.  While she does design dresses, skirts, and other separates, what really caught the audience’s attention was when the Senegalese designer set her models off onto the runway clad in bikinis made from Ankara.  Each one was extremely unique and innovative in design, the collection gave us all a new reason to go out and take in the African heat.
